Jade visual log, outside the work.
Going somewhere unfamiliar, 25+ countries mostly alone.
It takes courage sometimes, but you never find out what you are good at
until you get in.
I enjoy the unfamiliar because it is always a learning opportunity.
A lot of my life has involved noticing how people communicate and connect.
I have written headlines, held microphones, and read the news at a desk.

Lead with the finding. Show visuals. Be brief.
Culture, connection, conversation. All I love is deeply human.
But this is a machine’s world now, and oddly I have loved machines as well, since I was small.
I started programming then.
That boundary, and the connection across it, is the thing I am most curious about now.
See the Future CAPTCHA project ↗Still curious?
So am I.
What I learned outside the work turned out to help inside it.
Here is what colleagues have said about working together.
